Fat boy

Took Ty to the doctor last week for his 2 month checkup. He was 15 lbs. 1 oz. and over 24 inches long!! He's a BIG boy! For those of you that knew Tucker at this age, he was just over 12 lbs., and we thought he was huge! Ty will be meeting Marta's family for the first time next week as we travel to Indiana for Christmas. He'll be half grown!

A couple more pics...

Here's more from the weekend! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving weekend

We were able to enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday with Caitlyn and Colton this year, as well as celebrating Caitlyn's 13th birthday the following day. Dad is having a bit of a time with that one!! We returned to Natchitoches on Saturday to see the lights, which were awesome! The weekend, of course, was too short, and we look forward to March when they will be here for Spring Break. Caitlyn and Colton were thrilled with meeting baby brother Ty, and Tucker, as always, was excited as ever to have them here.

The boys

A few pics of the men of the house........

San Antonio

We went to San Antonio for Veteran's Day weekend, and although the drive was much longer than we anticipated, it was a great time. The Riverwalk is beautiful, and Tucker loved the boat ride on the river. We also visited the Alamo, of course.

Tucker, Ty, and Dad

Here are a couple new pics of the boys, and one of Mike and I at his pinning on. He promoted to Major on Nov. 1. YEAH Mike!!

HALLOWEEN

Tucker was quite a hit in his tractor costume this year. A friend got us the perfect outfit for Ty and I didn't have to try and find a miniature costume!! He was not so thrilled by the hat, though. We had a great time trick-or-treating, but I must say its weird to do that in the heat!!

New Pictures

Here's a few shots of the boys that I thought were especially adorable. Ty is very wide-eyed when he wants to be! Some Halloween pics will be posted soon!!

We went to Natchitoches (pronounced Nakadosh) last weekend and spent most of the day at an alligator farm, which Tucker loved. Natchitoches is where "Steel Magnolias" was filmed, and is a beautiful, historic, quaint little place. This picture was taken by the river. I can't wait to go back to check out the lights at Christmastime.

Here are a few pictures of Tucker and Ty in the past two weeks. Tucker is loving little brother and is very helpful to mommy. He does have to be reminded to keep his voice down, and that Ty does not need to be woken up when he is sleeping.........we're working on that one though! Things are going great, and we're looking forward to a visit from Mike's family starting this weekend.

Ty had his 2 week dr. appt. this week, and has already gained over a pound. He eats like there is no tomorrow, but so far, he's been a really good baby! YEAH!!

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

Hello all! Welcome to our blog! We welcomed Ty Wilson Pearce into the world at 10:45 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2006. He weighed in at 9 lbs. 3 oz. and was 21 1/2 in. long. Mom and baby are doing well. Tucker just adores his little brother and cannot wait to teach him how to bullride! We are also anxiously awaiting the first meeting between Ty and his bigger brother and sister at Thanksgiving. Hopefully, I'll be a bit more proficient at this blogging thing by then and will have worked out all the kinks! We'll be trying to keep this blog up to date since we're so far away from most of our family and friends. Check it often! (But not too often, that's tooo much pressure!) God Bless!
