Ty is now 10 months old, which is just incredible to me!! He's so much fun, and has a huge personality. He's also got an attitude from you know where!! It's gotten even worse since his sister left a couple weeks ago. Somebody spoiled her baby brother! He's just so cute though isn't he?!

These are just some random pics of the little guys. When Ty is really tired, he crashes in whatever position he happens to be in! I love the one of both boys. I think it is a sign of what's to come for Tucker. At least that what we tell him!! Ty thinks he's pretty hot stuff now that he can pull up on things. He often gets on all fours to crawl, but decides its easier to drop back to his belly and army crawl. One of these days he may just decide to take off running!! For now, he gets around pretty well for my taste!
It was sure to happen.........
As I mentioned in an earlier post about our new waterslide, I figured there was an ER visit in our future. Well, on July 20, Tucker was complaining of his toe hurting, and cried for quite sometime. He's normally pretty tough and shakes things off pretty easily, but I still wasn't too terribly concerned (silly me). After all, he thought he was Superman and took a flying leap off of the ladder. Shouldn't he suffer the consequences?! Mike suggested I take him to the hospital, and wouldn't you know, he broke his foot. Its actually his big toe, but way down the middle of his foot. That night, they sent us home with directions to have him wear hard soled shoes and to stay off of it. The next day is when we went to Kemah, so we had to carry him and push him in the stroller all day. On Monday, the hospital called and suggested he get fitted for crutches and they referred him to an orthopedic doctor. The crutches helped him gain enough confidence to try and walk. He even braved Jump City, but mostly on his belly! After about a week, he was walking okay, and only complaining of it hurting if he'd been on it alot. I had about given up on hearing from anyone about the ortho. dr., but finally got an appt. for this past Thursday. Mind you, that was 1 day short of 3 weeks after the original break. These pictures are the result of that visit..........
Jump City
The next town over has a really cool place called Jump City. Its basically a warehouse full of inflatable bouncers and slides. It's a great way to wear out the kids!! On this particular day, Mike was out of town, so we had a family day of fun. After Jump City, we went to DQ, then horseback riding lessons, and went home to pizza and a movie. I think I was on the good list that day!
After visiting Mike's Dad, we were able to have a get together with some of our nearest and dearest SF friends, who all live in the DC area. It was a wonderful visit, but made me miss them more! 3 in this picture are obviously pregnant, and even though I look it, I'm not one of them!!! This has inspired me to quit eating so much though!!! Actually, 2 of the 3 have had their babies. Welcome to the world Calan and Caleb!!!Tucker was thrilled to see some of his friends he hasn't seen in a year or two. I love this pic of Shelby and him! Shelby, her brother, and their parents, left for a two year trip to Cambodia shortly after this. We miss you!!!
Yes, we are still alive!!!
Hello all!! I know its been forever, and I've been getting your emails telling me to get some new posts on here. So here I go..............It's been a very busy, crazy summer around here. Caitlyn and Colton were here for 6 fly-by weeks. Shortly after they arrived, we headed north to West Virginia for a visit with Mike's family. When we left there, we headed to DC for a visit with his Dad, who now lives at the Soldier's Home. It's a beautiful campus type setting with a lot of history. It was once Lincoln's vacation home, much like Camp David would be today. The following pics are mostly from our trip. It's so great to have all four kids together!!!
